Vice President of Gift Planning

Cynthia Krause is vice president of strategic philanthropy for Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation, working with individuals, families and their advisors on complex gifts of outright assets, charitable trusts and estate gifts. She also oversees the Foundation’s planned giving and estate administration programs.

Ms. Krause received a B.A. from Baylor University and a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law and is a member of the Texas Bar Association. She practiced estate planning and probate law with Manning & Miller, P.C., was Associate Trust Counsel for Baptist Foundation of Texas, Senior Trust Counsel for Baylor University Medical Center Foundation and president and primary consultant for Wilson & Krause, a philanthropic advisory services firm.

Ms. Krause is a member of the national faculty for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and previously held a faculty appointment at The College of William & Mary Planned Giving Institute. She served on the board of directors of the National Committee on Planned Giving (NCPG), is a past president of the North Texas chapter of NCPG, and served on the board of directors of the Dallas Estate Planning Council. She is a nationally recognized speaker and author on charitable gift planning.

Ms. Krause has also played an active role in the Dallas community. She is a Leadership Dallas alumnus and has served on the boards of directors of the Sixth Floor Museum, the Center for Nonprofit Management, the Shelton School and the Incarnation Foundation.
